Percale – Percale is a method where one thread is used over another in a one-thread under pattern. In turn, this creates a very crisp and lightweight fabric with more of a matte finish. Percale sheets are popular among hot sleepers as they are the most breathable option and are prone to wrinkling.
Sateen – The Sateen weave is one thread increase and three or four threads over. Sateen sheets have a soft and silky feel like satin with a lustrous sheen. Sateen weaves resist wrinkles and drape well over your bed; however, sateen weaves are more prone to snagging and may retain heat.
Twill – The Twill weave has diagonal parallel ribs in the weave. It is similar to the weave used in denim and looks comparable. The ribing will add texture to the sheets so they will be smooth. However, this is the most durable weave in Bamboo sheets.
